I’m Lisa and I’m a stay-at-home mom that lives in Greenville, SC. I’ve been married to my husband, Scott for ten years. We have two children. My sassy girl Charlotte is 7 and our one-man wrecking crew Miles is almost 4. Keep reading below if you’d like to know more!
My Family

As you know by now, we. love. to. travel. My husband and I got spoiled living the DINK life (dual income no kids) and went as many places as we could while still living that glorious lifestyle.

And, I’ll be honest with you. Trying to appease a couple of complaining kids while attemping to enjoy a frosty beverage by the beach was what my nightmares were made of.
Then we had a kid. Then another. And we still had a case of insatiable wanderlust. What could we do?
So we decided that we weren’t going to let potential meltdowns run (or ruin) our lives. Traveling was too important to us and we want our kids to know that there’s a bigger world out there than the suburban bubble we currently live in.

I will also let you in on another little secret. I’m pretty lazy when it comes to parenting. And especially parenting on the road. If you’re a lazy parent too and want to travel with your kids, we’ll be best friends.
About Me Specifically
I was born in Florida but moved to North Carolina when I was 6. I grew up 20 miles outside of a tiny mountain town that is famous for hiding Olympic Park bomber Eric Rudolph and a New Year’s Eve Possum Drop. Google that last one if you don’t believe me.

After high school I attended college a couple hours away from home. I earned my degree in Communications and minored in Computer Information Systems.

My last summer of school I did an internship in Washington D.C. After living there, I knew I couldn’t go back home (sorry Mom & Dad!)

I moved to Atlanta after college. This is where I met my husband in a bar. Tale as old as time. After a few years of roller coaster dating, we grew up, got married, then made the plunge into parenthood.

When we thought we were ready for kids (is anyone REALLY ready??) my husband got the opportunity to work in Greenville, SC where we currently reside.
We are the proud owners of our rowdy kids Charlotte and Miles, as well as two cats Baxter & Cleo.
